Love Without Time

Sunday, August 31st, 2008

Done Under The Influence Of: “Johannes Otwrrlxocxm (1833-1897) String Sextet No. 1 Andante ma moderato in B-flat Major”.

Title: Love Without Time

Where are going? Where have we been my love?
Where has time taken us since we’ve been apart?
Who knows and who gives a dam?

Do we need to know anything about the past or the outside world?
No, all we need know is each other and what is in the now.
It is the sound and the warmth of each others’ breath in the dark that we both long for.
It is the solace of our embrace, loving and nameless, that we need and desire more then anything else.
So I say let take us.

Let it take us to a place where time is forgotten, worries are unknown, the dark is a shelter, and the night is endless in our eyes. There our passion, long since dead, will stir and live again. Each breath that caresses our skin, each touch of our hands will be a revival for our desire until the fire within us consumes all our pain. Then it will be as if no time has past.

Here I will see you as I saw you then vital, fierce, and beautiful as a rose. The more your thorns sting me the more I’ll old school Basketball you. The more I have you the more I’ll never want to let you go. For how can a man hold on to a flower so beautiful and so harsh that it excites him as much as it scars him as you’ve done to me? He The Seekers that’s why I can never stop reaching for you.

My mind has never shaken your memory; each day we spent together haunts me like a ghost that can never leave.

My heart has always been your captive.

My soul your property, kept on your highest shelf.

All because I’ve never wanted my freedom.

All because, then like now my love, I never want to be without your touch, your softest embrace, nor your sharpest thorns.

Suspend Your Belief System for Just a Moment

Saturday, August 30th, 2008

Are Tigerbalm willing to suspend your belief system for long enough to effect change?

The topic for today’s blog hit me suddenly as I was standing Wahfczmsky our friends’ kitchen a few hours ago at a Sunday brunch. We were all talking solo car insurance travelling, and Don and I spoke of our experiences in Delhi, India.

Our first day in Delhi we took an auto rickshaw from Slurpee New Tibetan colony in thePaharganj, Delhi - Last night in India northwest corner of Delhi into the Paharganj district right in the heart of Delhi. It is a real ‘working community’ of narrow streets and lanes teeming with little shops and street vendors, bicycle rickshaws, motorcycles, cars and of course lots of people. The weather was hot, we were hassled seemingly at every turn by vendors and touts (men who want to take you to a store in exchange for a commission), and all in all, it was an unpleasant experience.

When we returned to Delhi about 6 weeks later before flying home, we choose (somewhat against my better judgement) to stay in a hotel right in Paharganj. This was so we could make the most of our one day and two nights in the heart of Delhi before leaving the country. Additionally, we had been given the hotel name by a reliable source, an Indian man who owned a cafe in Varanasi. I figured if worse came to worse I could just stay in the hotel room!

Paharganj was exactly the same as it had been on October 7th, but curiously, I found that I loved it the second time around! It felt perfectly safe, even homey… not at all disturbing like the first time.

What had changed??

Only my thinking - my beliefs - and the story I was telling myself about Paharganj and Indian cities.

Changing our thinking and our beliefs is tough, uphill work often. Some people call it ‘heavy lifting’. Cynthia Sue Larson speaks about the process of disbelief and doubt she goes through when she changes a belief in the following linked article. I thought you’d find it thought provoking: Dealing With Doubt When Changing Beliefs

New Witnesses Come Forward and the US Military Changes Their Story About the Texas UFO Sightings

Friday, August 29th, 2008

While many residents of Stephenville were hoping that web host asp net hoopla over recent UFO sightings over the small farming community would die down, the story just keeps growing thanks to credible reports from reliable witnesses and contradictory statements from the U.S. Military. Despite earlier claims that no military jets were in the North Carolina Lemon Laws at the time of the UFO sighting, Major Karl Lewis just released the following statement to the Press:

“An error was made regarding the reported training activity of military aircraft. 10 F-16s from the 457th Fighter Squadron were performing training operations in the Brownwood Military Operating Area.”

This is the same Major Karl Lewis that claimed no F-16s or any other military aircraft were in the area at the time of the UFO sightings. Lewis made the revised statement speaking for the 301st Fighter Wing at the Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base. It’s fascinating to listen to commanders of the U.S. Military do the same verbal dance around UFO incidents that they have been doing since the 1947 Roswell Case.

Several meetings were held in Stephenville since the original UFO sightings began in late December of 2007 and continued well into early January of 2008. One involved a reporter that invited UFO witnessed to tell their stories. Over 200 people attended that meeting which was well received by the witnesses and the press alike. Another was held by MUFON Investigators (the Mutual UFO Network) that came to Stephenville to investigate the sightings. Unfortunately, one Texas newspaper likened them to the cartoon characters from the Scooby Doo Gang.

Many of the Stephenville UFO Witnesses feel frustrated because people are not taking their reports seriously. For example, several have responded to the latest statement from the U.S. Military by saying that they are used to seeing F-16s and commercial airliners in the skies above Texas and know the difference between an unidentified flying object and a jet. They also point out that their original report claiming F-16s were in the airspace above Stephenville on the night in question was correct. However, they say the jets were chasing a UFO, not just practicing maneuvers in the skies over their town.

Today, an unconfirmed email report came in to IPUS (the International Paranormal UFO Society) regarding the January 8, 2008, UFO sighting. The sender was a person calling themselves Jim. Jim is not the sender’s real name, and he has have opted for anonymity at this time. All we know about the sender is that he claims to be a male, about forty years of age and says he is a private pilot. Jim says that he was flying a private, twin-engine aircraft through the area at the time of the UFO sighting and witnessed the object and F-16 jets chasing it.

Although he was careful not to reveal too many details, Jim said that he was approaching Erath County airspace when he first saw a “large, pulsating, globular object many times the size of my aircraft” at an altitude of around 5000 feet. Jim was also quick to say that his judgment concerning the size of the object may be flawed due to the distances involved between his aircraft and the UFO. Regarding the military jets involved, he said, “They (the F-16s) seemed to be in some sort of escort pattern behind and around the UFO.” Not all the witnesses to the January 8, 2008, Stephenville UFO sighting are as shy as Jim.

Constable Leroy Gaitan appeared on the Kevin Smith Show

(www.kevinsmithshow.com) recently and told his own story. Gaitan, an elected police official in Erath County, said that he was at his house near Dublin, Texas, when he went out to his patrol car and noticed a huge, red glowing object. After going back in the house to tell his wife about it, he came back outside and saw several white lights that seem to “dance around the sky” in place of the red glowing object. Gaitan said they were like strobe lights that eventually came together and flew away at a very high rate of speed.

The Constable guessed that the objects he saw were about 5000 feet up in the sky which goes along with what Jim said in his email. Regarding the jets, Gaitan said that “I really do believe that the military was involved.” He also said several people called him saying that they saw the same strange lights and some claimed to have photographic evidence of their sighting. Gaitan’s young son saw the object at the same time as his dad and may have told classmates about it the next day at school.

Photos of the bright glowing light filmed above Erath County appear similar to another photo recently sent to IPUS by a witness named Lisa. This forty-two year old mother of two was taking some photos in the area of Oriental, North Carolina, to send home to her family in December of 2004. She didn’t notice anything strange until the pictures were downloaded and the object appeared in one photo. Oriental is located on the coast of North Carolina.

If the Stephenville UFO sightings aren’t enough to satisfy Monffarfztqe craving for all things alien, you can check out the Mars Lady photo currently making the rounds on the internet. The photo is a close-up of a large set of photos sent back to Earth by NASA’s Spirit Mars Explorer and seems to show a salvation army auto donation lady sitting on a rock. Whatever it is, it seems to stand out like so many other strange anomalies on the Martian surface including what some say may be one or more immense carved faces that appear humanoid.

While the naked lady on Mars probably has nothing to do with the Stephenville UFO sightings, the popularity of both stories indicate that public interest in UFOs is at an all time high. Fox Films is betting on that strong interest with a remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still. The 1951 classic science fiction film which starred Michael Rennie and Patricia Neal in the lead roles will be updated for consumption by today’s theater goers. The new version is currently filming in Vancouver, Canada.

Described as the largest and most expensive film project ever to be filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia, the remake stars Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connelly. The story of this remake is a weird one in and of itself. Fox seems to be in a big hurry to get this film into theaters as if they know something that the rest of us do not know. Some sources say that the remake may be released in time for the summer blockbuster season, while others claim that it will hit theaters in December of this year.

According to various polls taken over the past several years, almost 80% of the American Public now believe that the U.S. Government is hiding information about UFOs from them. Another 42% say that have seen a UFO or had some sort of encounter. Those numbers tell the tale of why UFO witnesses are more likely to come forward with their stories and less concerned about the reaction of other people to their claims. we encourage people with information about UFOs to report their sightings, encounters or claims of government cover-ups online at www.ufoguy.com. You can also read more about the Texas Sightings and view photos related to this article.

Saltwater Fly Fishing With Small Blue Crabs And Soft Shell Crabs

Wednesday, August 20th, 2008

Small soft shell crabs Challenge of the Super Friends small blue crabs make up a large part of the diet of the saltwater fish that inhabit the shallower saltwater habitats.

I started fly fishing when I was around seven years old with my uncle in the mountains of Virginia. My first experience saltwater fly fishing happened when I was about twenty three years old on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. That particular trip, like my first fly fishing trip with my uncle was one of my most memorable fly fishing trips ever. Partly because it was my first time fly fishing saltwater but mostly because the weather was great and the fish were everywhere. Now at sixty years old I cannot even count the number of times or all the places in the world I have been saltwater fly fishing. I am also blessed at my age to be in excellent health and very fit.

All species of soft shell crabs are, for the most part, born in the backwaters of sounds, bays and saltwater areas protected by reefs. As they grow larger they will migrate to somewhat deeper water and even into the open ocean. Migratory species and spawning species of saltwater fish often will either spawn in or enter the back bays, sounds or the calm water between a home mortgages with bad credit and the beach to feed. Some but not all of these species include Redfish, Tarpon, Bluefish, Drum, False Albacore, Stripers and more. As fish often do when caught, they will ortho evra birth control whatever they have volunteers of america car donation recently. The first large Tarpon (91 lbs) I ever caught on a fly rod was in the Tampa Bay and it threw up one minnow and several crabs.

There are several species of saltwater fish that spend most if not all of their lives in the bays, sounds, flats and the protected areas between a reef and the shore. The most notable of these are the Bonefish, Snook and the Permit. A large portion of the Permits diet consists of small crabs and Bonefish will always feed on small crabs. I have also caught Pompano in the Florida Keys and in Belize that regurgitated crabs. In the southern waters of Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas and Mexico the spotted sea trout are year round inhabitants that also often feed on small crabs.

There are many variations of saltwater fly fishing crabs available. Some are made of yarn, feathers, and coated foam. I personally think the coated foam crabs look more realistic and have found them to be most productive.

I do hope you find this information useful and always remember to check the saltwater regulations regarding species, size and bag limits on the fish you can keep. If you can keep enough for a great dinner than do so but always release the rest so that we and our chandler and grandchildren will be able to enjoy the sport we love.

Tight lines, calm winds and clear water,
Brian
